Registration and Enrollments

Q:

How do I join?

A:

Joining our group provides you access to our closed web page where you will have access to all our events, meetings, and activities. You can join our group by completing three easy steps.

1. Request to Join

2. Complete application Interview

3. After approval, complete membership forms and submit registration fees

4. Enroll in classes

Q:

When can I register for Beacon Co-op and starting signing up for classes?

A:

Registration for Beacon Co-op begins April 2022 and ends August 19, 2022. Once you request to "Join" you will be contacted to schedule your interview with one of our board members. Once your membership is approved, you will receive a notification and you will then be able to log in and enroll in classes. When you sign in to the website, you enter the member-only side of the website. You can then enroll your child(ren) in classes. Class enrollment is separate from registering for the co-op.

Q:

How do I enroll my child for classes?

A:

Once on the membership side of the website you should see a button for "Class Registration." Click on the individual class on the matrix (you can also select list view), you will see the class description, the YEARLY tuition and supply fee. (The monthly fee is at the end of the class description). To register your child for a class, find your child's name under the register button, click the box by their name.

Q:

I am trying to enroll my child in a class and I don't see a register button.

A:

There are a few reasons why this can happen:

  1. Your family has not joined the co-op OR your membership has not been approved yet.
  2. There is a time conflict (you have already enrolled in a class during that time slot).
  3. Your child isn't in the grade that the class requires.
  4. Class Registration hasn't opened yet

Tuition and Fees

Q:

How much is registration? 

A:

Registration per school year is $120.00 per family, living under the same roof, and is non-refundable. You will receive an invoice to pay after your application is approved.

Q:

How much is tuition?

A:

Each class has an individual tuition paid to the teacher. Tuition typically ranges from $25 to $50 per month, plus semester or yearly supply fees. Some teachers are open to bartering.

Can I check out the group first?

A:

Yes, please contact us at [email protected] or 210-480-8872 to schedule a campus visit during the current school year. Open House is scheduled for August 17th. Please see our calendar for Open House information.

Q:

When does the co-op meet?

A:

Worldviews I meets on Tuesday and all other classes are on Wednesdays.
